DID YOU KNOW?
THE 21 JARVIS COUSINS WERE NOT
THE FIRST COMBINATION OF 21 COUSINS.
THIS IS BY
COURTESY OF KAY ERP
I thought it was interesting, looked and counted, recounted, and recounted
thinking maybe I was doing something wrong.. No, I was not, but stand to be
corrected.. I did ask some of the family members to come up with the right
count..
The
Byerly children and their children
The Jarvis 9 also numbered 21 cousins
Grandma Jarvis -9
Nina,
Edith,
Bill,
Walter,
Nellie,
Russ,
Carl,
Pearl,
and Elva
Aunt
Stella -6
Forrest
Virgil
Claude
Owen
Reva
Ernie
Uncle William- 4
Raymond,
Kenneth,
Blanche,
and Alberta
Aunt Martha-2
Beulah,
and Howard.
Only thing I neglected to put in is that Uncle George Byerly ( Grandma
Jarvis half brother) married and never had any children.. If it makes a
difference go ahead and put it in there..
He was the oldest child in the older picture I sent of Great
Grandpa Byerly and Uncle Bill and Uncle George.. That would have concluded
all the brothers and sisters in the Byerly family.
Guess I thought I was crazy when I counted and found the same number to
appear in the 1st generation as the 2nd generation
Nina would have been the oldest and I do believe Blanche is the youngest,
but not for sure until I have some dates in hand.. It is either her or Elva
but I think it is Blanche.. Not sure when Blanche was born..
